This role will be responsible for developing the safety framework, managing some incident reports & capability development across leadership.

Responsibilities 

  • Provide accurate and timely advice and support to management and staff across all employment aspects.
  • Support the development and implementation of the organization’s Health, Safety, and Wellbeing framework including policies & processes.
  • Uplift capabilities of all leaders in both safety & HR by providing regulation training & facilitation.
  • Manage responsibilities for health, safety, wellbeing, workers’ compensation, and rehabilitation.
  • Coordinate WHS activities across multiple locations and contribute to health and safety strategy plans.
  • Assist managers with disciplinary investigations when required.
  • Provide advice, coaching, feedback, and engagement strategies to enhance performance, productivity, and retention.
  • As a predominantly casual workforce, provide support in workforce planning & change management.

Requirements

  • A knack for building and nurturing strong relationships with senior leaders.
  • Lots of hands-on experience in a role that covered both HR and Health, Safety, and Wellbeing.
  • Significant experience in employment relations, injury management, return to work, workers compensation and risk management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence and inspire action & change.
  • Good knowledge of WHS legislation, standards, and codes of practice to ensure compliance across Victoria.
  • The ability to obtain a WWCC, NDIS check & Police check & driver’s licence.
