People Analytics Consultant

Are you passionate about turning numbers into narratives? We have an exciting short-term opportunity (2-4 weeks) with a leading renewable energy provider.

We’re looking for someone who can transform HR data into visually stunning, user-friendly dashboards that don’t just display data, but tell a story and drive impactful business insights.

  • $700 – $800 inc super per day

The Opportunity

This role will report directly to the General Manager of People and play a crucial role in advancing their HR data analytics and dashboard development.

More of what you’ll be doing:

  • Data Analysis: Analyse HR data from our HiBob HRIS and Greenhouse ATS, as well as additional data from our accounting team and Xero, to create detailed reports.
  • Dashboard Development: Develop and refine dashboards focused on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), providing clear visibility into important metrics.
  • Gender Pay Gap Analysis: Extract and analyse data from various sources, including Xero, to start gender pay gap reporting and create insightful dashboards.
  • Data Manipulation: Use PowerBI and Microsoft Office tools to manipulate data and create clear, actionable visualisations.

About You

For this short-term project, we’re looking for a results-driven professional who can quickly make an impact. You should bring robust analytical skills and a solid background in data manipulation, specifically within HR contexts. Proficiency in creating insightful dashboards using PowerBI is essential.

To succeed you will have:

  • Extensive experience in HR data analysis and manipulation.
  • A proven track record of designing and recommending effective dashboards and visualisations.
  • Recent hands-on experience with PowerBI and the Microsoft Office suite.

Partnering closely with the Executive GM whom oversees the Engineering arm of the business, you’ll be collaborating and partnering with them on imbedding performance and capability frameworks within the context of your portfolio that enable the portfolio to succeed. There are approximately 1200 within the portfolio, spread globally.

What you’ll be doing

  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all business levels, though predominantly GM and EGM level
  • Guiding and upskilling teams through new processes and procedures, including around performance and remuneration conversations
  • Partnering closely with your client group to understand their people requirements, and provide recommendations to help achieve commercial outcomes
  • Partnering closely with and guiding the GMs and EGM around workforce planning, talent mapping, org design and change management pieces

About you

  • You are a self-starter and outstanding communicator, someone who is action-oriented and operationally driven to help implement changes
  • You have experience in global organisations and understand the complexities of this, both from a workforce planning perspective as well as imbedding of culture, processes and frameworks
  • As a strategic and operational thinker – you will be focused on driving efficiencies and building credibility by proactively advising, guiding, and influencing senior stakeholders at GM level and above
