Responsibilities 

  • Acting as the primary contact for employees and managers for HR queries and concerns and offering strategic counsel on intricate employee issues and conflict resolution.
  • In collaboration with the Head of People Business Partnering (your manager), represent the organisation’s interest in employment related legal proceedings and industrial disputes.
  • Work closely with the recruitment team ensuring top-tier talent acquisition.
  • Assist with developing and implementing performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching.
  • Support/ lead organisational changes and champion initiatives for organisational development.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Utilise HR analytics to track key HR metrics, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Lead or support HR projects to achieve both HR and broader business goals.
  • Manage two HR Advisors.

Requirements

  • Strong generalist/business partnering experience and technical depth in multiple areas of HR.
  • Strong business acumen with proven ability to understand complex business issues and recommend initiatives/solutions to support business strategies in a changing environment.
  • Strong functional HR knowledge; well versed in FWA & WHS legislation, systems, and processes.
  • Proven track record of working with and influencing at the management level
  • Able to develop and maintain trusting and positive relationships.
  • Strong leadership coaching skills.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and advise on multiple P&C issues.
